Monique has nearly 30 years experience working with some of New York City’s premier organizations and raising an aggregate of $23+ million dollars.
She has advanced the work of the American Folk Art Museum (AFAM), American Foundation for The University of the West Indies (AFUWI), Bedford-Stuyvesant Gateway Business Improvement District (Bed-Stuy BID), Brooklyn Metropolis Lions Club (BMLC), Brooklyn Museum of Art (BMA), Central Park Conservancy (CPC), Go On Girl Book Club (GOG), the NAACP Legal Defense Fund (LDF) and START Treatment Center; by producing events that attracted prospects and engage donors, creating strategic alliances with corporations and stakeholders, and positioning each organization in the philanthropic community.
Monique consults with non-profit leaders, Presidents, CEOs, Executive Directors and Board Members, committed to strengthening their organization’s philanthropy by building a strong fundraising infrastructure to ensure maximum impact; incorporating specially curated events into their portfolio; reinvigorating an existing event to reengage donors and stakeholders and hosting 6-or-7 figure events to ensure their non-profit is fiscally sound.
Monique has been married to Stan E. Walker for the past 33 years. Stan is a principal, career educator and mentor who has worked with the New York Department of Education for 35 years. They live in Brooklyn, New York.
